Ordering and payment
Do I need an account to order?
Yes. You need a free account to add items to your cart and check out. It also lets you see your order history and retry a payment if it did not go through. Create an account.
How can I pay?
All payments go through PayFast. You can pay by credit or debit card, Instant EFT and the other methods PayFast offers at checkout. You do not need a PayFast account.
Is it safe to pay on your site?
Yes. Your payment is handled on PayFast's secure payment page. We never see or store your card details.
My payment failed. What now?
Your order is saved as unpaid and nothing is sent. Go to My Orders and retry the payment. If the money left your account but the order still shows unpaid, email us with your order number.
Do your prices include VAT?
Yes, prices on the site include VAT where applicable. Delivery is added at checkout.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Email us as soon as possible. If we have not packed it yet we can usually change or cancel it. Once it has been collected by the courier, you can return it under our Returns Policy.
Delivery and pickup
Do you deliver across South Africa?
Yes, we deliver nationwide by courier.
How much is delivery?
Delivery is quoted live at checkout once you enter your address. The price depends on where you are and what you ordered.
Can I collect my order instead?
Yes. Choose Pickup at checkout and there is no delivery fee. We are in Sunderland Ridge, Centurion, and we will let you know when your order is ready.
How long will delivery take?
Main centres usually receive orders within 2 to 4 business days after dispatch. Outlying areas can take longer. The courier's timeline is an estimate and can be affected by public holidays and weather.
My parcel arrived damaged.
Sorry about that. Email us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the box and the item. We will replace it or refund you.
Returns
Can I return something I no longer want?
Yes, within 7 days of receiving it, as long as it is unused and in its original packaging. Filament must still be sealed. You pay the return shipping.
Can I return opened filament?
Only if it is faulty. Once a spool has been opened we cannot resell it, because filament starts absorbing moisture as soon as it leaves the sealed bag.
Where can I read the full policy?
Everything is on our Returns Policy page.
Custom prints
How do custom print requests work?
Upload your files and tell us the material, colour and quality you want on the Custom Prints page. We review the request and email you a quote. You only pay once you accept it.
I don't have a 3D file. Can you still help?
Describe what you need in the request, with measurements and photos if you have them. We will let you know if it is something we can do.
Which material should I pick for my print?
PLA for display pieces and models, PETG for parts that need to be tougher, ABS or ASA for heat and outdoor use, and TPU for flexible parts. If you are not sure, say what the part is for and we will recommend one.
Filament and printers
Which filament should a beginner start with?
PLA or PLA+. They print at low temperatures, barely warp and work on almost every printer. Our Filament Guide covers every material we sell.
Which diameter do I need?
Most printers, including all current Creality models, use 1.75mm. Some older printers use 2.85mm. Check your printer's manual if you are not sure, as the two are not interchangeable.
Do I need a hardened nozzle?
For carbon fibre, glass fibre and other filled filaments, yes. They wear through a brass nozzle quickly. Standard PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA and TPU are fine with brass.
My prints are stringing or popping. Is the filament bad?
Usually it has absorbed moisture. Dry the spool in a filament dryer and store it in a sealed bag or box with desiccant. The Filament Guide has drying temperatures for each material.
Can you help me choose a printer?
Yes. Email us with what you want to print and your budget, and we will point you to the right one.
Can you get a product you don't stock?
Usually, yes. If you are looking for a filament, part or accessory that is not on the site, email us with the details and we will try to source it for you.

How long does student verification take?
We check verifications by hand, usually within 1 to 2 business days.
